Christ Evangelical German Lutheran Church
is the highlight of the village. Originally, the church was located in Brady Township in
Saginaw County. It was built in 1888. The church
was moved to McCurdy Park in 1991. Inside the
church are the organ, that was added in 1919, and
a 150 year old grand piano.
The church pews were purchased from the Owosso Assembly of God, but were originally in the old St. Paul's Catholic Church in Owosso. They are of the same vintage as the original pews from this church, circa 1872. The church is available year round for weddings. Phone Norma Green at (989) 723-3447 |
