Shiawassee Conservation District's 60th Annual Meeting

Shiawassee Conservation District celebrates 60 years of conservation!
Film maker, songwriter and author Bill Jamerson will present "Dollar A Day Boys - Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC)".
The CCC was a depression era work program created by President Roosevelt.
The teenaged boys worked in camps restoring America's natural resources.
They built dozens of National Parks, constructed thousands of miles of roads, fought forest fires, and worked to prevent soil erosion.
Cash bar and social begins 6:30pm; dinner served at 7pm
