2026 Citizen of the year Nomination Form

The Citizen of the Year Award is selected by a committee that includes the immediate past Citizen of the Year, three to four previous Citizens of the Year who represent a Chamber Member Business/Organization, a Chamber staff representative, a representative of the title sponsor and a member at large of the committee’s choosing. The recipient will be announced at the Annual Dinner Fundraiser & Community Awards Ceremony hosted by the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce - Date TBD.

Deadline to submit: May 2026

ELIGIBILITY: The nominee must have been a Shiawassee County resident for at least two (2) years, and have a Shiawassee County mailing address. The individual must have demonstrated an active interest and significant involvement in community affairs and has, through their efforts, contributed to the betterment of the community.
