Celebrate Your Business Milestones with a Ribbon Cutting through the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce!
The Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce (SRCC) is excited to offer ribbon-cutting services to welcome new businesses, celebrate milestones, and support the success of all members within the community. We offer two options for ribbon cuttings, designed to suit the needs of any business:
Standard Ribbon Cutting (Free)
Our Standard Ribbon Cutting service is available at no cost to all local businesses. This package includes:
Premium Ribbon Cutting ($100 for members or $150 for nonmembers)
Our Premium Ribbon Cutting package is designed to provide additional promotional support to businesses looking to maximize visibility. This package includes:
The SRCC encourages businesses to schedule their ribbon cuttings with at least two weeks' notice. This allows us to prepare promotional materials and coordinate with media outlets effectively.

- Scissors and ribbon for the ceremony
- A welcoming representative from the Chamber or an Ambassador
- Invitations to local media
- A list of recommended caterers (upon request)
- Candid photos from the ceremony for use in Chamber publications and social media
Premium Ribbon Cutting ($100 for members or $150 for nonmembers)
Our Premium Ribbon Cutting package is designed to provide additional promotional support to businesses looking to maximize visibility. This package includes:
- All features of the Standard Ribbon Cutting
- A 2-minute video interview recorded at your business, with the option of a provided interview script
- Event listing on the Chamber’s event page
- Promotion across the Chamber's social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- A dedicated email blast to over 3,000 subscribers
- An event recap in the Chamber’s monthly newsletter
- A recording of the ribbon-cutting ceremony to use on social media or keep as a memento
- A framed photo with the date and a piece of the ribbon
